SA offers a free shuttle bus to the airport around each of the college's breaks.  The shuttle rotates around the Jet Blue schedule and sign-ups begin in the SA ticket office about a month prior to each break.

Co-Curricular Transcript Program [Ph: 245-5620] gold.geneseo.edu

Learning is a process that happens outside, as well as inside, the classroom. Now you can keep track of your co-curricular development in student organizations, college committees, internships, as well as your honors and awards. The transcript is an official college document that may prove valuable as you plan your college life and enter the job market. The Co-Curricular Transcript Office is located in the GOLD Leadership Center, College Union 114.
Fax Service [Ph: 245-5873]

Need to send or receive a fax? The SA provices a FAX service located in the MacVittie Union Ticket Office Room 102. The cost is only $0.25 to receive, and $0.50 (domestic) to send. International prices are $5.00 to send 1st page, $1.00 each additional page. Cover page is required at no cost.
Graphics Service [Ph: x5895 Web: sagraphics.geneseo.edu]

A professional graphics service is provided for both student organizations and personal use at a reduced cost.  The SA Graphics Coordinator can design flyers, logos, brochures, posters or other publicity.  To begin a project, you may fill out an order form on the SA Graphics Order Form Page. The graphics office is near the SA office, in CU room 312.

Geneseo Late Knight [Ph. 245-5057] glk.geneseo.edu

SA provides over $31,000 to the Late Knight program to support alternative programming on weekend evenings.  All students are able to access this money through Late Knight grant proposals located on the college union's website.

Legal Education [Ph. 245-5878]

The SA provides an initial legal consultations based in Geneseo and Mt. Morris at no cost to students. Most legal matters are appropriate for discussion. Appointments can be made through the SA office and most schedules can be accommodated.
Non-Funded Accounts/Banking Services [Ph. 245-5878]

The SA provides banking services to non-Student Association funded student organizations. Services include processing of checks, weekly income balance sheets, and tax exempt status.

SA employs students to patrol the campus for added security on the weekends and at special events.  Public Safety Aids are trained by the University Police and are employed on a part-time basis.

Student Association Merit Awards for Leadership and Service [Ph. 245-5878]

The Student Association designates $12,500 to support merit awards for leadership, service and diversity through the Geneseo Foundation. These awards will be given to those students that exhibit strong leadership and service qualities, particularly through their involvement in the Student Association.

SA employs several student workers who can provide technical support and assistance to a variety of groups on campus.  In addition to trained student workers, SA also own several thousands of dollars worth of equipment and supplies that can be accessed through SA tech by any organization - with no rental fees.

Ticket Office [Ph: 245-5873 Web: saticketoffice.geneseo.edu]

SA operates a "box office" in the union that provides ticket and sales services to all student organizations, and runs a consignment sales system for organization fundraisers.  Both cash boxes and petty cash are available for on-site sales.

Undergraduate Research Grant Program [Ph: 245-5878]

Each year, the Student Association contributes $22,500 to be allocated to students for various research projects.  The donations are managed through the Geneseo Foundation and a panel of professors, administrators of students helps distribute the money.

Vacation Bus Program [Ph: 245-5873 saticketoffice.geneseo.edu/vacationbus.html]

SA provides low-cost charter bus transportation to students who live in the downstate area.  The bus runs for fall, Thanksgiving, mid-year and spring breaks.  Tickets sales begin in the SA Ticket Office approximately one month before each vacation, with both round-trip and one-way tickets available.

This program, like Late Knight, is a partnership between SA and College Union and Activities.  SA provides thousands of dollars to help provide off-campus entertainment activities at a very cheap price.  Past events have included trips to Darien Lake, Buffalo Sabres games, the Lion King, whitewater rafting, Avenue Q on Broadway, Syracuse basketball games and much more.

Other Projects

From time to time, SA will contribute to projects that it believes will enhance student life and activity on this campus.  Some recent projects have included:

-Renovation of upstairs sections of Milne Library
-Establishment of the COPA (downstairs in Union)
